When you include a Mythic Hero who has Mythic Effect 2 in your team, you can gain an additional slot. These special slots are a little different from ordinary team slots, so read on to learn more about the conditions and rules associated with them.
Only Mythic and Legendary Heroes matching the current season or Heroes who have been granted blessings matching the current season are eligible for placement in special slots.
You can add a special slot to your raiding party by including a Mythic Hero who has Mythic Effect 2 and whose effects are active during Light or Astra seasons.
Putting a Mythic Hero or a Hero bestowed with a blessing in the special slot will not influence Lift gain, even if that Hero is currently a bonus character. Additionally, bonus Mythic Heroes will not mitigate Lift loss when they are in the special slot. This means that you can choose a Hero without having to account for effects that influence Lift.
You can add a special slot to your defensive team by including a Mythic Hero who has Mythic Effect 2 and whose effects are active during Dark or Anima seasons.
If you have seven allies in your defensive team, the ally in the special slot will automatically be put on standby at the start of every turn. This ally will only be able to take actions once another ally has been defeated, bringing your total number of available allies to six. However, the ally's skill effects will still be active even while they are on standby.
Putting a Mythic Hero or a Hero bestowed with a blessing into the special slot will not contribute toward mitigation of Lift loss, even if that Hero is currently a bonus character. Additionally, bonus Mythic Heroes will not add an extra defeated foe to your score when they are in the special slot. Much like with raiding parties, this means that you can choose a Hero without the need to account for Lift-related effects.
